PLC的類型
1．按生產(chǎn)廠家分有：
德國的西門子公司、美國的AB（Allen-Bradley）公司（現(xiàn)已被美國的Rockwell公司收購），美國GE公司與日本FANAC合資的GE-FANAC公司、法國的施耐德公司（原美國MODICON公司已被其收購）以及日本的歐姆龍（OMRON）公司、三菱公司、松下公司、東芝公司、富士公司、光洋公司、日立公司等等。
德國西門子公司：主流產(chǎn)品為 S7系列機(jī)，有S7200（小型）、S7300（中型）及S7400機(jī)（大型）。性能比S5大有提高。此外，還推出微型機(jī)Logo。
日本OMRON公司：主流產(chǎn)品為CS1H、CS1D（可雙機(jī)熱備）、CJ1H、CQM1H 、CP1H、CPM2A及 ZEN微型機(jī)。
日本三菱公司：主流產(chǎn)品為FX系列機(jī)、Q系列機(jī)及Alphi微型機(jī)。此外，在三菱公司Q系列高檔機(jī)中，除了有常規(guī)的順序控制CPU外，還推出運(yùn)動控制CPU、過程控制CPU及PC（計算機(jī)）CPU，分別可進(jìn)行運(yùn)動控制、過程控制及信息處理。
美國AB（Allen-Bradley）公司主要為Logix系列機(jī)。如ControlLogix、FlexLogix、CompactLogix 、MicroLogix 及PicoLogix微型機(jī)。此外，還有軟PLC（SoftLogix5 Controller），過程控制PLC（PPC Programable Process Controller），安全性（GuildPLC）PLC。
GE-FANAC有90-70機(jī)、90-30機(jī)。最近，還推出控制與信息處理能力有很大提升的可編程自動化控制器，即，PAC。
法國施耐德公司有：MODICON Quantun（大、超大型機(jī)）、MODICON Premiun（中型機(jī)）、 MODICON Compact（中、小型機(jī)、可用于較大的工作溫度范圍及有腐蝕氣氛的場合） ?Momentun（中型機(jī)） 、MODICON ?Micro（小型機(jī)）、MODICON ?Naza（微型機(jī)）。
國內(nèi)也有一些正在發(fā)展中的PLC廠家，相信在不太久的將來，會在世界PLC之林中一定有其位置的。
