Think&Do和Steeperchase 的VLC都是1998、1999年進(jìn)入中國(guó)市場(chǎng)的，特別是Think&Do花了很大的努力，至今仍不盡如人意。當(dāng)然有一些成功應(yīng)用，如郵件分揀系統(tǒng)。我感覺，這多少與它們不采用IEC 61131-3，而是倡導(dǎo)用流程圖編程語(yǔ)言不無(wú)關(guān)系。
德國(guó)KW公司在1998年以后就在北京設(shè)立辦事處，著力推廣其符合IEC 61131-3的編程系統(tǒng)MULTIPROG和 控制程序ProConOS。
Siemens從2001年開始在國(guó)內(nèi)推介其軟PLC系列產(chǎn)品WinAC，已經(jīng)有了一些應(yīng)用。他們是很有戰(zhàn)略眼光的。德國(guó)Inforteam公司的 openPCS 在國(guó)內(nèi)也開始了市場(chǎng)開拓活動(dòng)，2002年6月曾在上海的自動(dòng)化展覽會(huì)上舉辦過技術(shù)交流。我國(guó)自行開發(fā)的DCS系統(tǒng)，如上海自儀公司的SUPMAX-800，選用法國(guó)CJ International公司的符合IEC 61131-3的IsaGraf和美國(guó)的強(qiáng)實(shí)時(shí)操作系統(tǒng)Vxworks。北京的和理時(shí)已采用Inforteam的OpebPCS開發(fā)新的DCS。
