PLC是采用“順序掃描，不斷循環(huán)”的方式進(jìn)行工作的。即在PLC運(yùn)行時(shí)，CPU根據(jù)用戶按控制要求編制好并存于用戶存儲(chǔ)器中的程序，按指令步序號(hào)（或地址號(hào)）作周期性循環(huán)掃描，如無跳轉(zhuǎn)指令，則從第一條指令開始逐條順序執(zhí)行用戶程序，直至程序結(jié)束。然后重新返回第一條指令，開始下一輪新的掃描。在每次掃描過程中，還要完成對(duì)輸入信號(hào)的采樣和對(duì)輸出狀態(tài)的刷新等工作。PLC的一個(gè)掃描周期必經(jīng)輸入采樣、程序執(zhí)行和輸出刷新三個(gè)階段。PLC在輸入采樣階段：首先以掃描方式按順序?qū)⑺袝捍嬖谳斎腈i存器中的輸入端子的通斷狀態(tài)或輸入數(shù)據(jù)讀入，并將其寫入各對(duì)應(yīng)的輸入狀態(tài)寄存器中，即刷新輸入。隨即關(guān)閉輸入端口，進(jìn)入程序執(zhí)行階段。
PLC在程序執(zhí)行階段：按用戶程序指令存放的先后順序掃描執(zhí)行每條指令，經(jīng)相應(yīng)的運(yùn)算和處理后，其結(jié)果再寫入輸出狀態(tài)寄存器中，輸出狀態(tài)寄存器中所有的內(nèi)容隨著程序的執(zhí)行而改變。
輸出刷新階段：當(dāng)所有指令執(zhí)行完畢，輸出狀態(tài)寄存器的通斷狀態(tài)在輸出刷新階段送至輸出鎖存器中，并通過一定的方式（繼電器、晶體管或晶閘管）輸出，驅(qū)動(dòng)相應(yīng)輸出設(shè)備工作。我們要了解PLC在工業(yè)控制中為什么具有高度可靠性與穩(wěn)定性的原因，首先我們要了解PLC的工作原理，PLC可編程序控制器采用周期循環(huán)掃描方式，在執(zhí)行用戶程序過程中與外界隔絕，從而大大減小外界干擾；在硬件方面，采用良好的屏蔽措施、對(duì)電源及I／O電路多種形式的濾波、CPU電源自動(dòng)調(diào)整與保護(hù)、CPU與I／O電路之間采用光電隔離、輸出聯(lián)鎖、采用模塊式結(jié)構(gòu)并增加故障顯示電路等措施；在軟件方面，設(shè)置自診斷與信息保護(hù)與恢復(fù)程序。PLC由于采用現(xiàn)代大規(guī)模集成電路技術(shù)，采用嚴(yán)格的生產(chǎn)工藝制造，內(nèi)部電路采取了先進(jìn)的抗干擾技術(shù)，因此用PLC實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)系統(tǒng)的控制是非?？煽康摹＿@是因?yàn)镻LC在硬件與軟件兩個(gè)方面都采取了很多措施，確保它能可靠工作。事實(shí)上，如果PLC工作不可靠，就無法在工業(yè)環(huán)境下運(yùn)用，也就不成其為PLC了。

先介紹幾點(diǎn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。
1、先通讀一遍“系統(tǒng)手冊(cè)”（不管能不能看懂，先了解個(gè)大概，以便學(xué)習(xí)編程時(shí)查找）；
2、由位控邏輯入手，逐漸增加定時(shí)、計(jì)數(shù)等條件，把或、與、非關(guān)系理順；
3、進(jìn)而練習(xí)整數(shù)運(yùn)算、實(shí)數(shù)運(yùn)算、類型轉(zhuǎn)換；
4、量程轉(zhuǎn)換、PID調(diào)節(jié)回路的建立及P、I、D參數(shù)的理解（最好是有個(gè)物理回路驗(yàn)證，比如變頻器+電機(jī)+測(cè)速傳感器）；
5、循環(huán)、順序、跳轉(zhuǎn)等程序控制（盡量避免跳轉(zhuǎn)，非跳不可時(shí)也是跳的越近越好）；
6、中斷、通訊、位置控制....

本人以ABB工業(yè)機(jī)器人配件DSQC系列和Motorola MVME系列，GE 卡件 模塊 驅(qū)動(dòng)器系列為主攻。各位電工朋友可根據(jù)自己的條件選擇適合自己的PLC品牌，由于PLC的基本框架大同小異，學(xué)會(huì)一種至于其它的學(xué)習(xí)起來也就簡(jiǎn)單了。
